We assisted this food retail chain in their property buying processes by carrying out Due Diligences to find hidden defects or non-conformity with certain environmental standards. We quantified the costs and time frames of any work required to restore the assets to normal use or be put on the market. We analyzed the environmental quality of the land and looked for any waste (above ground or buried) or materials containing asbestos. For ALDI Immobiliare alone, we carried out around 45 investigations in three years in the north-east of the country, between Novara, Trieste and Bologna. Managing projects in so many places at the same time was a major challenge.
